विधानसभा के विधि-विधान की व्यावहारिक जानकारी देने वाली विधायकी की खास पाठशाला चयनित युवा ही विधायक होंगे, मंत्रिपरिषद के सदस्य और विपक्ष के सदस्य भी होंगे। विशेषज्ञों की टीम इस अनूठी विधानसभा को विधायकी प्रणाली की रीति-नीति से परिचित कराएगी और फिर लगेगी विशेष विधानसभा, जहा प्रदेश के जनमहत्व से जुड़े तमाम विषयों पर चर्चा-परिचर्चा होगी। सब कुछ ठीक वैसे ही जैसे वास्तविक विधानसभा में होता है। खास बात यह कि युवा विधानसभा का पैटर्न ‘अनुभव से ज्ञान-ज्ञान से अनुभव’ है यानी खुद एक विधायक के रूप में परिचर्चा करते हुए विधायकी व्यवस्था की रीति-नीति को समझा जा सकेगा।
इस खास विधानसभा के गठन के पीछे युवा आह्वान का उद्देश्य युवाओं को न केवल विधायकी प्रणाली से रूबरू कराना है, बल्कि राज्य सम्बन्धी ज्वलंत मुद्दों के प्रति उनकी तार्किक क्षमता का विकास करना भी है जिससे ये युवा भविष्य में प्रदेश के जिम्मेदार नागरिक के रूप में अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को पूरी ईमानदारी और गंभीरता के साथ पूरा कर सकें। युवा विधानसभा में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करने वाले युवाओं को समापन समारोह में सम्मानित किया जाएगा।
18 से 30 वर्ष तक आयु वाला कोई भी युवा जो स्नातक या उच्चतर कक्षाओं में अध्ययनरत हो, आवेदन कर सकता है। आवेदक की कोई आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि नहीं होनी चाहिए । ऐसे कर सकते हैं भागीदारी –
युवा आह्वान द्वारा आयोजित उत्तराखंड युवा विधानसभा में भागीदारी के लिए पहला चरण पंजीकरण का है। युवा आह्वान की वेबसाइट www.yuvaahwan.ml पर पंजीयन का लिंक उपलब्ध है। पंजीयन के बाद चयन प्रक्रिया होगी। जिसमें सफल अभ्यर्थी अंतिम रूप से उत्तराखंड युवा विधानसभा के प्रतिभागी बन सकेंगे। अधिक जानकारी के लिए

◆ चार दिवसीय इस युवा विधानसभा में अभ्यर्थी के ठहरने एवम भोजन की सम्पूर्ण व्यवस्था संस्था द्वारा प्रदत्त है ।
◆ युवा विधायक हेतु आवेदन शुल्क 600/- रुपये है जो कि आपके चयन के पश्चात लिया जाएगा ।
◆ बिल एवम मुद्दों की चर्चा के साथ साथ प्रतिदिन ओपन माइक एवम सांस्कृतिक संध्या होगी ।

Uttrakhand youth assembly, in simplest terms is a simulation of the actual legislative assembly of uttrakhand . In a youth assembly, students from various schools, colleges and universities participate and are allocated constituencies. They have to represent their constituency being the youth MLA who is representing their constituency in the actual vidhansabha or legislative assembly. There is a speaker and deputy speaker who regulate the process of debates and discussions. It is usually a four day event
The purposes of Ahwan youth assembly are as follows:
1. To make students understand the Vidhansabha procedure.
2. To develop in students an insight into the working of Vidhansabha
3. To make students consider public issues and form their opinion on them.
4. To train students in the technique of group discussion
5. To develop in students an ability to arrive at a decision after group discussion.
6. To develop them in them respect and tolerance for the views of others.
7. To develop in them an understanding that respect for rules is essential for conducting any discussion systematically and effectively.
8. To train students in group behaviour.
9. To make students aware of various problems facing our society,region,state and the country.
10. To develop in students the quality of leadership.
11. To make students understand the common man’s point of view and express it in an articulated manner.
So basically its a scheme being run by the Aahwan group to create awareness among the youth of our Nation about the working/functioning of the vidhansabha of different state so that at least they can get an overlook about the nature of work being run in Parliament and ultimately they can later percolate the same among others.
